Kelsie Mazur Doctor Of Physical Therapy
Born and raised on Chicago's Southside, Kelsie is a distinguished Doctor of Physical Therapy, bringing a wealth of experience and passion to Wattage’s Physical Therapy clinic. With an athletic background as a competitive gymnast and collegiate cheerleader, Kelsie has always been deeply invested in fitness and the mechanics of the human body. Her journey into physical therapy was inspired by personal experiences—navigating her own rehabilitation from a significant neck injury during college and witnessing her own father’s recovery with the help of physical therapy after a severe accident. These events fueled her determination to pursue a career where she could make a meaningful impact on individuals’ lives. Kelsie holds a doctorate degree in physical therapy and a Master’s in Kinesiology, complementing her extensive clinical experience gained across various settings before joining Wattage. Known for her patient-centered approach, Kelsie emphasizes the importance of improving quality of life beyond the conventional business model, aiming to deliver compassionate and personalized care for all. Her life mission is to empower her patients, helping them achieve their health and fitness goals through a blend of expert knowledge and genuine care. Whether it's a nagging injury, pelvic floor issues, vestibular, or neurological injuries through persistence and consistency, Kelsie loves helping people achieve things they didn't think they were capable of and treat the whole-person to optimize movement.
When she's not treating her patients, you can find Kelsie grinding through a CrossFit Metcon, hanging out with her identical twin sister Karlie, listening to Morgan Wallen or Tay Tay Swift, and watching anything on Bravo.
